Caliban’s War is the second book in James S.A. Corey’s The Expanse trilogy. Unfortunately I didn’t know that when I started reading it 🙂
I should probably have read Leviathan Wakes first (and I definitely recommend that as it sounds really interesting from the flashbacks in the second book), but at this point I feel I know what happens in the book -the trilogy is pretty much a single book split into three.
Caliban’s War has a great cast of characters, some really interesting ideas, and one of the best opponents I have read in a long time. Definitely recommend the books and I’ve pre-ordered the third volume in the series, Abbadon’s Gate (comes out in June 2013).
